Mariam is an instructor in the department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Zayed University where she teaches Environmental Science. Her research interests include water resource management, environmental policy, and (a recently developed partiality for) innovation and technology management. Mariam holds a bachelor of science in Environmental health from Zayed University and a Masters in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge. Mariam aspires to promote environmental sustainability and technological self-sufficiency in the Arab region through the empowerment of research and innovation.
