Farah is an educator and researcher with expertise in social entrepreneurship, focusing on advancing innovation and addressing societal and sustainable challenges. Her research interests include (social) entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial intention, hybrid organizations, social responsibility, and human capital. She is particularly drawn to exploring the intersection of gender, refugees, and (social) entrepreneurship and their influence on sustainable development.
Farah’s teaching philosophy emphasizes guiding students out of their comfort zones into their learning zones, fostering transformative educational experiences where they embrace new challenges, take risks, and grow. With extensive teaching experience across Jordan, the UAE, Italy, and the UK, she has led specialist and executive courses in social innovation and (social) entrepreneurship, emphasizing real-world impact and sustainable solutions.
