Aia Abul-Haj is an award-winning engineer with over 12 years of expertise in solar energy, wastewater treatment, and sustainable business development. Holding a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Jordan University and a Master’s in the Built Environment, she has gained international recognition for her environmental solutions, representing Jordan in 10 countries. Aia is a TechWomen Fellow (Silicon Valley, USA), a Leader in Innovation Fellow (Royal Academy of Engineering, UK), and a She Entrepreneur Fellow (Swedish Institute). As founder of SOLVillion, an impact-driven startup, she delivers innovative water and sanitation solutions while mentoring young entrepreneurs in Jordan, Sudan, Turkey, and the USA. Aia’s approach integrates community-driven innovation with simplicity and knowledge.
